Football Italia was among the accredited media outlets at Italy’s first training session under Roberto Mancini on Monday, offering an early glimpse into the new CT’s ideas.

Mancini briefly tested a 4-3-3 formation during the session, offering initial clues on how he could position and use his players.

The Azzurri will face Belgium on Friday, September 25, in what will be Mancini’s second debut in charge of Italy.

With the match still several days away, it is too early to draw any definitive conclusions. However, after watching the team in training, we can already get a sense of Mancini’s tactical ideas for his second spell as Italy coach.
